The blip has nothing to do with the day. A desperate blip.

This afternoon I had a meeting with one of my cousins. I must have seen him when he was a baby or todler, but probably not very often. My aunt and her two sons lived almost three hours away from my birthplace. I think that, when my parents went to visit them, there always were a few of us (eight children) staying at home, because there was no space in the car. And I must have given up my place with love because of car sickness. And by the time I left home to live on my own, this cousin was only ten.
But today we had a very pleasant introduction and had a nice chat with each other. It was a good day today. It has been a fine day today
