Boxwood Before Styling...

Two nights ago I posted a picture of the first bonsai I styled from scratch.  Not having a blip today, I looked back for a picture to show the difference between what the raw tree (pre- bonsai) looked like compared to what the styled tree looks like.
    The most glaring feature is the heavy branch, on the right side, at the bottom.  It is the same thickness throughout the whole branch.  Another negative feature is the branch in the center of the trunk, 2 branches on the left up, a branch that is poking straight at you.  The last glaring feature is the crown....  it is all poking straight up and thick.    This tree showed a lot of potential which why I gave it time to grow and develop.  Now, we will watch the tree grow and see what it grows into.
