Sittin' n' Watchin'

An osprey was sitting on the branch of a dead pine tree along the edge of the salt marsh this afternoon.

I believe this was the same bird that had caught a fish earlier and most likely took the fish to this branch for a mid day snack.

Plus it's a great spot with a clear view to keep your eyes open for bald eagles which have been terrorizing the ospreys lately.
