Thursday: Heading Home

It's been a very full day today. Most of it has spent with my big boss from Ottawa who has stayed on for meetings after the conference. We've been out and about quite a lot - the rain has held off for the most part which has been helpful.

The day culminating in me hosting a reception for about 120 people. It seemed to go well and there was a real buzz in the room. After events like that, tough, (i.e. ones that are 'my party') I always agonise about the people in the room that I I didn't manage to get to speak to........
