Kookaburra

Friday 17th November 2017 (1910)

SueT123 came over today and we spent the day at Knowsley Safari Park. Unfortunately the weather didn't match the forecast and it drizzled with rain all morning, it was also very cold. We started with the safari drive but in all the times I've been this year I've never seen it so deserted of animals! It was getting beyond a joke! The tigers did honour us by coming out to see us though.

We then watched the sea lions and the flight of talons show, as well as going to see the wolves and meerkats. We were so cold it was time to warm up in the cafe before going on a second safari drive. This time there were some more animals about, thankfully.

Back home we had a session of reviewing photos of the day. Despite the low light and lack of animals we both got a number of good shots and choosing a blip was a difficult one. I've never blipped the kookaburra so it's his turn today.

We've had a lovely day of photography and catching up. Thanks Sue!
