Flor de ave del paraíso.

Not sure what the Spanish name is for this flower, but I know it as a bird of paradise. Last year the potted plant on the terrace produced 4 flowers, but has looked pretty dead recently with the storms. This week a brand-new flower appeared, so this is my offering for Flower Friday.
