Slaters Bridge

Had another lovely day.  HereWeGoAgain and I wandered up to Hodge Close quarries and I took this photo of Slaters Bridge.  The weather wasn't great but we waited for some light to appear.

On the way back I spotted some silver birch trees which looked stunning against the black rock so have added as an extra.

Hoping to head up to Castle Crag tomorrow overlooking Derwentwater and Borrowdale before heading home via the Dog and Gun for one last Goulash.
