PASTA ALLA PUTTANESCA

Translates as "Whore's Pasta"...

For the second time this week I ate at CC's, but this time it was Danilo (profile) who did the cooking.

Danilo's from Calabria - Italy's toe  - he's a university lecturer in Roma, but he regularly comes to Brussels to pick CC's brains on guitar making.

His pasta alla puttanesca  was really good (extra) - it's quick to make & beautifully simple - it involves garlic, olive oil, black & green olives, capers, cherry tomatoes and anchovies.

Figure it out!

PS - I forgot the basil!
