Enjoying the sun

It was a beautiful day and it was much warmer outside rather than inside.

Trevor my gardener, was clearing the ivy and the Passion flower from the fence. It had got carried away. I doubt that there will be many flowers next year but we can now keep it under control.

While I was in the garden talking to him this Red Admiral stopped briefly to enjoy the sun. It was lovely to see him. Can anyone recommend some plants for the garden that will attract them? You can see the bare fence in the back ground.

It’s been an exhausting week. I had a quick catnap before rushing around again.

A good friend came round for dinner. It’s nice having company.

Murphy and I have agility in the morning.
