Drookit Rat!

Even her eyelids are drooping with the wet!!

I wrote a couple of weeks ago that Dunkeld must be one of the best places to visit in autumn, because of all the trees surrounding it, and also it has the bonus of the River Tay flowing through the town too. So when the sun shines, like it did today, making the Tay sparkle, flanked by the big trees that Perthshire is famous for, there is no better place to be, anywhere!!! You must visit!!

The Hilton Hotel has a lovely large terrace overlooking the river, so we sat out there and had coffee and warm scones filled with cream and jam..... mmmmmmm.... Met so many people wanting to meet a friendly cocker. The lovely French waiter was besotted by her and later produced a calendar of Scottish landscapes by Scottish photographer Colin Prior, who had given a talk there the night before for us to take home.

Then it was off a walk down river, and of course the wee dog is in her element here, as there is a sandy beach area with STONES, hundreds of them just waiting to be thrown in for a manic cocker. As you can see here, even the head is ducked under, to get a specific stone.

Breagha, I said the other day you were one of the prettiest dogs on Blip, but look at you now, all bedraggled, soaked and with that cheeky look in your eyes. No, she hasn't got swollen chops, that's one of the specific stones stuffed in!! You gotta love her though.

Look at her in the large option - she looks even more funny!!!
