Dublin-bound

Majorly belated backblipping....

Up and out of the cottage by 10am, then we drove back to Dublin, dipping in and out of Northern Ireland on the way - very odd, as the only way to tell was a) a faint border shown on Google Maps and b) UK speed limit signs.  Hard to keep track of which country we were in!

Can't quite remember where I took this photo, but it was a quick roadside stop for lunch along the way.

Went to check in to our 'summer university accommodation' at DCU, but discovered the room was made up with twin beds, so had to wait an hour or so for them to make it up as a double.  Very basic accommodation (for a lot of money!), but only for one night so we decided to put up with it.  Went out for dinner, which made the whole experience much more pleasant - had a really nice meal - and some delicious wine - in the lovely Andersons nearby.  Then returned to our room for a bit of a crap night's sleep with noisy neighbours coming back in the middle of the night.  Ah well.
