Sally Mair - Loving life

Convolvulus Cneorum

Bought this little convolvulus cneorum from King John's House in Romsey when we were there in the summer. (I much prefer the official name to its popular name of shrubby bindweed!) It had just finished flowering at the time.
For some reason it has decided that November is a good time to flower too. I appreciate it, I just hope the plant doesn't come to regret it!
I was the source of much amusement as we drove from deepest Hampshire, via a couple of nights in Oxford, back up to Edinburgh... with a car full of plants.
It seems to have paid off though as they all seem to have taken well - they all came from such nice National Trust Open Garden plant sales.
