Although it was a dull and damp day the view from the office was still stunning.
To a certain extent garden maintenance is about allowing the right amount of time to complete all the tasks. I have worked in this garden once a month for the last 2 years but only in the last few months have things started to improve since I have found someone else to join me thereby doubling the amount of time the garden receives.
Today I spent most of the day on my knees weeding the gravel paths between the parterres whilst Trevor, my cohort, was clearing a huge border elsewhere at the property.
We left, at the end of the day, feeling like something had been achieved.
