Today was a mission to tidy the house and make a tasty meal for our friend's Cameron and Sarah who we've been trying to get up for a meal now for over 4 years. This is no exaggeration.

Anyway it was a lovely night catching up and Amelie loved the company, she was full of smiles and loved the new book they brought her a a gift (A Giraffe Can't Dance).

The butternut squash and goat's cheese soup was delicious, as was the greek lamb stew. My pecan and dark chocolate tart was tasty but the pastry snapped which meant the liquid was oozing through all over the place (ie. the worktop, floor and oven). I t was tasty just not what I had intended.
