Picnic in the Woods

Boys are on mid term so Nana in charge today. Mummy dropped them off and headed to her work so we then headed into town for breakfast in Nero.

Rolls and cakes bought for our picnic in the woods near Ballathie. Weather glorious, cold but sunny. This spot in the wood is magnificent, a circle of beech trees and fallen logs. Perfect was to spend a couple of hours, climbing the trees for the boys and the three of us playing hide and seek, oh and Breagha, spaniel noses great for finding their people!

Cameron is a great climber and I thought one of the big trees would have bamboozled him but no he was up it.

After all that running around we drove the short distance to Stewart Tower Dairy Farm for ice cream to finish off a fab afternoon.

Ben had Beavers after tea but Cameron's' scouts wasn't on.

Exhausted in the evening. What a great day.
