One little piggy

One of fourteen.  B's sow had more but a couple died very soon - it was fortunate really as their mother only has so many teats!  She is very good with them and is careful not to lie on them. If there is a squeal she will jump up straight away and they also have their "safe" area where they can be out of her way.  She did though lie on one and B says sometimes sows do that on purpose if there is anything wrong with the piglet. Nature's way.

Later this afternoon we went for a cuppa with R and E.  R is not well and is in and out of hospital.  It was good to see him home.
