Edinburgh Printmakers

We went to Edinburgh Printmakers to see the exhibition From Paper to Gold which celebrates 50 years of printmaking. We also tried our luck with the Artobotic machine and in our little box got two mini prints and the ladies in the shop told us about the artist and showed us some examples of her work.

Next we went to the National Portrait Gallery to see the exhibitions, The Modern Portrait and When We Were Young: Photographs of Childhood from the National Galleries of Scotland.

Next was lunch at the Dovecot Studios cafe, then a quick look at their exhibitions Daughters of Penelope and in the gallery above the studio artwork from their recent projects.

Then to Greyfriars Art Shop for some hand made printing paper.

Next to the National Museum of Scotland to see the exhibition on Scotland's Early Silver.

In the evening we went to the cinema to see Murder on the Orient Express.
