Hemingby Church

A lazy relaxing day was the order of the day today. 1st of was watching England play in the quarter finals of the Rugby League world cup it was played at 5.00 this morning we recorded it to watch when we got up. A very convincing win against Papua New Guinea  36 - 6. setting up a semi-final against Tonga.
After lunch we took a drive out in search of a blip. The other month I went to visit a lovely church but found the road to it closed for roadworks so today we tried again. It is based in a lovely little village called Hemingby it was worth the wait . As you can see it is a lovely little church  not that old as it was built in 1895 but it is the 4th Church to be built on this site the 1st in 1281. we also took a walk around the village and discovered a lovely little thatched cottage and also a great use of an old red phone-box housing a defibrillator  see extras. Some more of my shots can be seen HERE .
