Duck trainers

Our weekend started this morning, as we set off in Claudette heading for Oban. The stop at St.Fillans for a coffee saw us entertained by these clever ducks. They had trained some humans to feed them. They even had a lovely young boy (approx 4 years old), who seemed happy to be herded around by them and the parents thought this was funny. So did we.

We headed to Oban and did a spot of shopping and coffee, then down to a lovely corner of the world across the Atlantic (bridge) to the Isle of Seil and to the village of Ellnabeich. WE went for a stroll along the base of the cliffs and ended up in the local pub, The Oyster brewery, where we had the most delicious Seafood chowder for dinner. I would recommend it to everyone. but just don't eat it all. We will be back. ( The pale ale is pretty OK too :-) Hic! )

We set off to wild camp and ended up on the banks of the Crinan canal.

It was going to be a "Crisp" night.
