MY DUCK EGG BLUE SKY:

Nature rolls this out every day, & turns the heat on....25*c, another day to knock the stuffing out of you. I chose this Blip, because if you’re on holiday, it is perfection; if you’re a farmer or a gardener, it is a nightmare ! Had to go to Cromwell on business, just home when I had the pleasure of welcoming Dr D. who features prominently in Sight Singings blips. He was literally buzzing with excitement having been helicoptered in & out of Dusky Sound, living on a private barge, whilst on a four day fishing excursion to that far away corner of N. Z. I think he’d spent the afternoon brushing up his adjectives - they just rolled off his tongue. His excitement was obvious , like he’d just walked on the moon. Overseas blippers have to realise that magical place at the very bottom of our country gets more rain than anywhere else in N. Z. - it just buckets down, & Dr D. has just experienced four days of hot sunshine. Unheard of !
