Govan Graving docks

off tonight  to a showing of a new documentary made to highlight the history of Govan Graving Docks and the desire of enthusiasts to save the large derelict site and still intact  granite dry docks for maritime heritage and  as a centre for maintaining the historical ships like Waverley and Queen Mary. Over 10000 have signed a petition. Land speculators and builders are waiting to pounce on this prime riverside land.
