Dog Rescue!

Driving down the Lorton Valley this afternoon in heavy rain, this Border Terrier was running towards me on the road. Having stopped the car and got out, he greeted me like a long lost friend. The tag on his collar revealed that his home was a local farm but no one was at home. So it was back to my house. 

He was eventually reunited with his owner. She had been out looking for him. Apparently he has already been run over once and has a pinned hip. Next time I will know where he lives!
