Aussie Rhododendron

Rhododendrons are a popular shrub in Australia and come in a number of varieties and colours. I am not sure which variety this is, but it is the first of 4 we have growing in our front garden.

We have given it some good shelter from the harsh sun, being on the south side of a wall. With good shade these plants will thrive in the very warm Aussie climate, as long as they are protected from the extreme afternoon sun.
