Fallen leaves
A copper carpet shrouds the forest floor and the remaining beech leaves swirl down with every gust of wind. The extraordinarily mild weather precedes a spell of very stormy weather, and by tomorrow I suspect that few leaves will remain, autumn turning decisively into winter.
