Just a Hint

I passed this old doorway on my way to Court this morning. It’s next to some gardens beside St Albans Abbey so it may lead to the gardens, or it may not. I had no time to investigate, and when I was dismissed again at lunch time, it was drizzling so I hurried to the car. It will still be there tomorrow.

I was sworn in to a case today however, but no sooner had we taken our oaths, than the Judge declared he was unwell (he’d lost his voice) and sent us away again. The charges were read out though, so I’ve had just a hint of what the case is about. Not that I’m allowed to say.
