When I got to Mary's this morning two things caught my eye, the glassy windowsill in the extras and the sheet hanging to dry in the conservatory - I loved the light and shade.

We went on a walk from Gumley, Leicestershire, somewhere that's local to her for a change.  It was lunchtime, there was a handy bench with views and we sat down... and then I noticed the plaque on the back of it was inscribed with my Aunt's name.  I knew there was a bench in her name somewhere on a Leicestershire walking route but not where, and I'd actually been thinking about her during the previous mile, and so was amazed to see her name.  How strange is that!  The other extra shows Mary on the bench.

I'll try and get round to some journal visiting tomorrow, I know I'm way behind.

p.s. I bought a gas fire at work this morning, very good value with my 20% discount, now to see when the plumber can fit it.
