The Blackcountry Man

Goodbye Tom (Tucker)....

We went to the Funeral parlour at about 09:00am and we set off to the Crematorium following the horse drawn carriage, we followed in three cars and a hearse full of Flowers behind was two ice cream vans, one was Tom's van. As we entered the crematorium grounds the van's started their chimes and we were in floods of tears knowing it wasn't Tom at the wheel.
When we arrived at the door there was around three hundred people, maybe more all waiting to go in following the coffin.
The service started and the first song was My Way by Elvis followed by Hey Jude by the Beatles. The vicar screwed a little on the family tree and he also got Toms name back to front but we will forgive him as the service was good and the stories of Tom's life made us smile even in the face of adversity. The third song was Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton, there was more words and the curtains came round the coffin to the song Time to Say.
We went out to the tune "Liquidator" as Tom was an avid Wolves supporter.

The wake was at the local Labour club where all the photo's that I printed out a few nights ago.
Mrs BM has picked up as we sit here and has started to feel hungry again, lets hope she keeps going well.
These are a few of the flowers that the family bought, there was even an Ice Cream Van and Ice Cream Cone too.
