Went to the park briefly today. There were 3 cormorants and a
female red-breasted merganser. I had to look that one up as I wasn't sure what it was! Bit of an odd looking thing. It seems to be another coastal/estuary bird that's come inland for food. I bet the herons aren't too happy... didn't see any again today.
