Brean Sands

After our regular Saturday morning raid on the fruit & veg stall, we drove to Brean for a walk on Brean Down. This shot was taken halfway up the steps to the top.

There was a very cold wind whistling across the top on the way to the trig point but it made for a bracing walk and great views across the Bristol Channel to Wales. We thought we'd deserved a fish finger sandwich in the National Trust cafe (one of the buildings bottom left) when we got back down.

Got home in time to watch the second half of the England v Samoa rugby union match and follow Yeovil's latest away defeat at Wycombe; once again it was only by one goal but we're proving to be just not quite good enough, especially on our travels.
