Dreary day

Participated in our national Birding Big Day.
Marievale ( a Ramsar wetland site ) was one of our venues which became very bleak and cold early morning.
Needless to say it was an enjoyable days birding despite the inclement weather.
We managed 114 species during our approx 10 hours in the field.
Top of the leader board was a team that recorded 302 species. Amazing total for 24 hours of intense birding.
