As you were

A very nice day round these parts, though I had a groggy start as we'd been out Friday night with some friends visiting for the weekend. A coffee and mooch in town, and picked up the visitors later and headed down to Connolly's in Leap, I was driving this time, so clear head today. Paul Noonan, lead singer with Bell X1 was doing a short solo tour. Really good gig, Connolly's is a strange little venue in a tiny village. A vibrant spot in the 90s, closed for a good while following the death of the owner and now resurrected by his wife and son in recent years. A  warm crucible with an upstairs gallery and the performer in the middle of all this. As Paul said he felt like Tina Turner in Mad Max  Beyond Thunderdome...

Saturday in parts
