Mellbreak outline

Once the clouds lifted, it was a glorious morning in Cockermouth - but down the Lorton valley everything was changing. A blanket of clouds was building. As I climbed Low Fell, my heart sank. I wasn't going to get to the summit in time to photograph snowy peaks. Over my shoulder, I saw the sun break through for just a short while, making a silhouette of Mellbreak and the conifers in the foreground.

As if to prove that there is often a silver lining!
