Craftmanship.

On a walk today, we spotted this field gate.
The handle was made, just to close it but the Blacksmith who made it, maybe 100 years ago, took such pride in his work, that he decided to turn it into a thing of beauty -- in my eyes, anyway.
What skill it must have taken, to produce this.
Hidden away from general view, it was a lovely thing to find, on a frosty morning walk
