Day 70: Mother Shipton & Harrogate

Battled the fog, cold and height restricted car parks to arrive at Mother Shipton's Cave ("England's oldest tourist attraction"- and site of the Petrifying Well). Continued on to Harrogate to visit the Royal Pump Room Museum - where in days gone by the gentry sampled the curing waters of the sulphur wells. Ah, there's nothing like the smell of rotten eggs to remind you of how far the NHS has come. Or, more importantly, how much Spas have improved.
