Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea is a genus of thorny ornamental bushes and trees with flower-like spring leaves near its flowers. They are native plants of North Africa. 

The flowers of the bougainvillea can be several different colors, from pink, to red, to orange, to white and yellow. Most commonly seen in Adelaide is this one.
