Sunset at Johnshaven

We decided to visit the seaside today, the choice fell on Johnshaven, about 20 miles south of Aberdeen. We arrived in time for a light lunch at the The Anchor pub. This was preceded by a visit to the Starfish craft shop, and then followed by a stroll along the front. By this time I could see we were going to have a nice sunset

It was a little too early for a photograph of the sunset, but I managed this shot about half an hour before sunset looking along the coast. The actual sunset was spectacular, but I could only see it in the rear view mirror as we returned in the direction of Aberdeen.
