Sheffield Park

When I rejoined the National Trust they kindly gave me a free admission ticket for a friend so I took advantage of that today. We went prepared with our sketch books and paints hoping we might find a good spot to draw and get an idea of the colours. Although the sun shone and we felt warm enough walking round the lakes we decided it would be too chilly to sit outside. The coffee shop beckoned instead. Fortified by tea and scones, we set out to explore the sculpture trail. We were impressed. Such simple designs but perfect in the right setting. I have added a few extras to show some of them.
