Stieglitz or Distelfink (Thistle finch) to me, Goldfinch to you-

A very religious bird that apparently waited very patiently at the back of the queue when God distributed colours. There was little of anything left, so God gave him a dabber of what was left - a bit of red, black, white, yellow, light brown and white-yellow. He was very good at getting in and out of Jesus' crown of thorns, hence thistle finch.
