Yorkshire Grit

The town of Ilkley has many rows of Victorian stone terraces.  The sandstone was quarried from the neighbouring Ilkley Moor when the desire to move away from the industrial cities of Leeds and Bradford to live in a genteel spa town with a railway station was growing.
