A hot Summer evening

It was still 34C as we drive to the beach at 6.30pm.

We took chicken skewers, salad, sweetcorn. I cooked at the free (but initially grubby) BBQ, whilst the kids strolled, splashed and generally cooled down.

It was so busy and a bit like the United Nations down there tonight! Wonderful. While sizzling the chicken, I talked to the people around me and enjoyed the different cultures and ways of enjoying a warm dinner evening.
Mlle L says that it was -1C back home in France today, she is loving the Geelong weather, but also getting a bit over hot at times.
