Marmalade Sky

My title is a tiny tribute to the beatles: "Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds". Simply a magical sunset that lured me as I drove home from somewhere... Some of the scruffier trees of Deer Island are in relief; the effects of Hurricane Katrina are still in evidence. Yet I love their battered silhouettes against that orange sky. Bold survivors always have scars.
