Aaaahhhhhh, the exquisite satisfaction of having the one thing you kept suggesting-despite repeatedly being told that you don't know what you're talking about in a rather grumpy manner while the other person gets increasingly frustrated, then Googles exhaustively and finds the solution-is the actual thing you suggested. 

Fluorescent fixtures in my well-lit dungeon workspace have been successfully converted and outfitted with energy- and money-saving LED bulbs.
