Happy St Andrew's Day

Happy St Andrew's day, whether you are back home in Scotland, or like me, part of the diaspora. I hope the next year is a time of many blessings.

Canada is well known for its Caledonian Societies, celebrating their Scottish heritage, and so I half expected to come across the occasional kilt or bit of tartan today - but no. I may have to make do with a celebratory glass of whisky later. 

There aren't many leaves left on the trees, now that Fall is almost over, but these ones caught the light beautifully and so caught my eye too.
