The End is near....

...for this gorgeous peony, the petals are drying up and wilting and the colour is fading, but I still think they are just so beautiful.
I popped up to the neighbours to check on "Mum Tui" and spotted the peony in their garden. They are away and asked me to keep an eye on the family but all good in the nest. Could see the 3 eggs when I arrived then spotted Mum on the clothesline before she very quickly arrived home and settled down on top of the eggs. Very hard to take photos as there are so many leaves obscuring the vision.
