Short Eared Owl

For some time now i have been watching a pair of short-eared owls swooping around the nature reserve which backs onto our house. Its amazing to be able to see them from the comfort of your own bedroom, but i've never had much luck chasing them round with my camera!!!

I spent a bit more time at it today, watching them crash down, presumable on mice, and then creeping as close as possible (which wasn't very close!!)

Anyway this is the best shot so far, but i'll keep trying!
