There's an app for that!

I kept the children this evening so their mom could go to a night-time business event while their dad is away at work. I had plenty of non-screen activities for them, including cookie-decorating (see Extra) but it was a new interactive app for the iPad that won their hearts. 

And yes, for those of you in France, that is Notre Dame de Rocamadour hanging on the wall behind them. She has been with me since the children's father was four years old and I took him to Rocamadour while I was doing extensive research on the Cathares.
