Hedging my bets

Another lovely cold, crisp day. The weather forecasters seem to be pleased that is going to get a few degrees warmer in a few days but with that comes cloud and murk; give me cold and bright any day. We did the seven stile walk early afternoon but I didn't take my camera so this is a shot of the hedge opposite our house. The farmer usually cuts it back in December or January but most of the leaves have dropped already so at least we can see through to the field again.
