Atop Newtown Knott Beacon

After yesterdays soggy blast over Muncaster Fell, and lazy afternoon in Wasdale, I opted for an early and short trundle around Ravenglass for a couple of miles. Much drier underfoot (except for the actual footpaths ) found me on an old Beacon on an i nsignificant hill called Newtown Knott, with fabulous views.
I could have stayed all day, but the cold (and it was cold) and a cooked breakfast beackoned...
