Cultural DC day

Husband at a meeting so I found a concert this morning at the Kennedy Center and then the Vermeer Exhibit at the National Gallery. My all time favorite artist is Vermeer and this felt like visiting many old friends. I had sen most of the painting s before the extra is from a painting by a contemporary and even close up it looks like fabric. Trying to upload the whole painting by Casper Netsher. Amazing detail
