Noticed the Nativity Scene was being set up - outside the local church - after a visit to the garden centre to stock up on birthday cards for folk having birthdays in December and January - surprisingly easy to find amongst the Christmas wares

Later listened to Reception class readers at school - against a backdrop of the school choir practising Carols - think they’ll all be stars - good to see and hear the non commercial side of Christmas
